Coupling coefficient for grating-based coupler

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I am trying to simulate a grating-based coupler and get transmission and reflection spectrum ,I used S-parameter and S21-dB & S31dB but I don' get good result I have some questions :

1- Is there any other way to get spectrum except for S- parameter?

2- Should I use abs (s)^2 or (S dB ) is correct?

3- where can I apply time & frequency domain input in COMSOL? I mean where I can do its settings?

4- I need to enter different coupling coefficients & study the effect of them ,how can I do the settings?

Thanks,

Sara
