Shallow-channel approximation with wetted wall in Laminar Two-Phase Flow

in earlier versions of COMSOL (eg. 4.1) it was possible to define a wetted wall boundary condition simultaneously with shallow-channel approximation in the two-phase flow physics.
However in 4.3a I find that when shallow-channel approximation is selected the wetted wall option is removed.
Is there a specific reason for this or is it something that can be implemented in another way as I am trying to model (in 2d) a shallow microfluidic channel droplet generator.
many thanks
Michael
