I am new user to this software and currently working on modeling and simulating hip implant joint which consists of a ball and joint interaction using comsol in 3D.
I'm interested to make some simple analysis on the tribology of the joint, i.e friction force and stress distribution with existence of lubricant between the two contacted surfaces (such as the rotating ball at a constant velocity in a stationary socket).
As I already have the separated parts of the cup and socket in 3D using Solidwork, is it possible to make such those analysis using this software?
If that is possible, what should I do next?
and what kind of module and analysis that suit in this case?
Any suggestions, ideas or comments are highly appreciated, as I'm very new to this field..thank you.. :)
