moisture in wood

Hello
I am treating a problem of heat and moisture transfer in a wood material,
I wanted to know what physical module should I use to study the term moisture and his evolution.
can anyone of you who have an idea help me please

Hi,


This is easy in COMSOL. You need subsurface module or you can simply develop your own equations for heat and moisture transfer using PDEs.

If you are not familiar then download an example from the following link (choose 1/2 as it deals with heat and moisture only, because this is what you want):
