acoustic sound interaction module_pressure backgound

when I use background pressure field,
P_total=P_incident(=P_background)+P_scattered
is satisfied(right?)
then when I set the background pressure field as plane wave( the magnitude is 1), then I think the 3D plot of P_background(acsl.p_b) should be always well arranged.
I set a model like below(attached image)
and this features should be dependent on the frequency because inserted material is porous media.
so, I think P_total(acsl.p_t) should be changed but P_background(acsl.p_b) should be always same(well arranged picture like left plot on the attached image)
But I can see that P_background(acsl.p_b) is not well arranged though its range is still -1 ~ 1.
I wonder why backgound pressure (acsl.p_b) is not constant.
please help me, please
