Particle sliding on walls in fluid simulations

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello!

I am performing a simulation of particles in a microfluidic device. Due to the particular flow of the device, the particles move to the walls of the device and then slide along them. I have observed this using a microscope. However, in the simulation, since the particles are treated as point particles and the walls of the device have a flow velocity of 0, the particles stick regardless of what wall interaction I choose (stick, free, bounce, etc). Is there a way to have the particles treated as non-point particles such that they slide along the wall in an accurate manner?
