Selection of surfaces on interior geometry

Hello, I am working on a project involving the simulation of airflow through a room. When I import a sealed room, I am unable to select the desired inlet and outlet within the room. When I do not place a physical roof on the room, I can select my inlet and outlet, but get a fatal mesh error. If anyone can help, please let me know.

Hello Jeremy,
The default method to select interior boundaries changed in version 4.4 compared to earlier versions. The new default is discussed here along with how to return to the "old" method if you prefer it: www.comsol.com/support/knowledgebase/1168/
Best,
Jeff
