Surface Charge in Semiconductor Module

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,
I would like to add a constant surface charge density in the semiconductor physics module (Comsol 4.4).
I selected the Surface Charge Density from the Electrostatics menu. However I cannot apply any domain to this boundary.

Best,
Andreas

Hello!
Surface Charge Density node provides surface-charge boundary conditions for exterior and interior boundaries of nonconducting media. If you want to apply charge density to domains, then they must be non conductive and you should include Space Charge Density node in your model.

Hope this helps,
Ekaterina.
