Temperature coupled subdomains?

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I want to model a self-regulating system, that consists of a heat generating part (A) and another part that's supposed to have always the same temperature as part A. Because I'd like to model it in different geometrical dimensions it would be easier to create a "link" between both subdomains instead of calculate the heat flux density for each case.
Is it possible to model this problem in COMSOL? I've tried to do it by using coupled variables, but that didn't work. Maybe I just used it the wrong way?!

I appreciate any help.

Regards,
Stefanie
