Floquet boundaries and periodic ports

I am trying to model some gold nanospheres on acrylic. I think I have things going in the right direction but I would appreciate a little guidance and clarity concerning the floquet boundaries and the polarization of the electric field. I have it set up with floquet BC's (following the frequency selective surface model and tutorial) where the BC's get the wavevectors from the periodic boundary I am using. I am trying to set up the field such that the wave vector is in the y-z plane at some angle alpha (incident from the -z direction) while having the electric field in the x direction. So if someone could look it over, maybe give some pointers, I would greatly appreciate it.
Cheers,
Max
