displacement phase in solid mechanics

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I am working on a force vibration problem of a 3-D block. I use frequency domain and solid mechanics analysis. I applied prescribed displacement on one boundary. so the phase of displacement on this boundary is always zero. I would like to check the displacement phase shift on one line of the block other than the displacement boundary. I though the phase shift should be within 0 to 2*pi. However, when I extract the displacement phase data from Comsol 4.3b, the phase shift data is much larger than 2*pi. It looks comsol accumulate the phase shift instead of just calculating the exact phase. How could I obtain the right phase data from those extracted data? Thanks
