How to call (trigger) COMSOL?

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi!

I want to run two different COMSOL simulations (running totally separately):
1- PDE General form (Transient setting) [for 10 seconds]
2- 2D structural (Transient) [for 5 seconds]
In each time step of the PDE, I have to update one of the coefficients of the PDE, based on the results of the Structural analysis.

I want to do these two simulations separately. I will start with PDE, then from within this environment (this window) I want to trigger the second simulation (Structural analysis) which runs in another environment (another window), and record the results. I have to do this repeatedly for say 100 times.

Can you please tell me how I can call (trigger) another COMSOL simulation from within COMSOL? How can I record the results of the second simulation (to be used for the first one)?

Thank you,
Masoud
