How to model a surface as 'diffusely reflecting' in COMSOL?

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello everyone,

I'm working with COMSOL acoustic module to model a room, and technically I'm solving the Helmholtz equation with impedance boundary conditions. By default COMSOL considers surfaces as specularly reflecting, but I want to model the surfaces as diffusely reflecting. I have been struggling with this for a bit long time, but didn't find any ways to do it. I'll be happy if someone can help me with any suggestions regarding this diffuse surface modeling.

Any kind of help will be highly appreciated.

Regards,
Mehadi
