LiveLink Autocad 2D Model

Hello everyone,
I don´t know how to use the LiveLink of the Autocad in a 2D Model. The reason I want .to use the LiveLink, and not just importing the DXF file, is because I need to parametrize the DXF drawing so then I can run a set of simulations on different geometries.
So basically I need to find the way of activating the LIVELINK for autocad in a 2D MODEL.
