How to determine the value of M in dialysis.mph

Hello,

I have a question regarding the Value of M (Stiff-spring velocity) in the model of model library. the path is

Chemical_Engineering_Module/Multicomponent_Transport/dialysis

I know that, the value of M should be very large, but what is the the way to find the value of very large M? Definitely, there should be some formula to calculate its value. what is the theory behind?

Can any body help me in answering the above question?
