Effective CTE evaluation for FRP composites

Hi,
I need to determine the effective CTE for FRP composite . I modelled as a 2D plane strain problem.Would you please guide me for the thermo mechanical coupling? and shall I enter the constituent CTE values for Fiber and matrix directly or as a function of temperature? to determine thermal strain,can I use surface averaging of the material strain ?
