Prestressed frequency analysis

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hey,
I am trying to simulate a 5mm square, 200nm thick membrane's mechanical motion. The membrane is fixed on a 1mm thick silicon substrate.

I have included a initial stress, done the stationary-->eigenfrequency analysis and found the modes.

Now I want to study the amplitude of the mode as a function of different actuation points in the substrate. For this, I am trying to run the Stationary-->Freq Dom, Perturbation analysis with a harmonic perturbation boundary load (at and close to the mode resonance freq) at different regions of the substrate.
The frequency domain solution is not converging.

Any lead would be appreciated.

Regards,
Ajay
