Integrate over arbitrary surface using script

Normally, 'post int' can only integrate the value on existing boudnaries. Now the problem is to integrate the value on an arbitrary surface.
First, I want to interpolate the data on specific interier surface (not a existing boundary) where I can define the position and the shape. This can be done by using function 'post interp'.
And then I need to do intergral of these value on the surface. The possible function is 'meshintegrate'. But normally this function is used together with the function 'postcrossplot'. As I found in the help, there is only example that to plot the value on the cross section defined by three point. Is it possible to define a surface with certain area with limit x y range (not cross section) by 'postcrossplot'?
