How to calculate Moment of inertia.

Hi!
I need to find the moment of inertia of a cantilever beam. Anyone knows a way to calculate it? Which study we should do? Here I attached my model.

Hi
the moment of inertia can be obtained by adding the Definition "Mass Proprieties" node and populate this with corresponding density values.

If its the polar moment (see the formulas on Wiki) you want, then you need to calculate this in the derived values, once you have at least populated the data set with a "Solve - Get initial values", and/or add the integration operators accordingly and added the moments as variables under the Definition node

Good luck

Hi Ivar,
Thanks for replying so soon but I can't get what are you saying. would you please elaborate it?
