Hello,
i want to simulate the eigenfrequency of a circle (2D simulation) with an refractive index of 3.6, perfect electric conductor, and i want to know the eigenfrequencies around a specific frequency. the simulation runs ok, but i only get values of the eigenfrequencies, which are orders of magnitude away from my specific frequency. what i am doing wrong? i use comsol 3.5.

Hi

there can be several things "wrong", but I would start checking :
1) the dimensions and units (m or um or ..?)
2) the material properties (are the units matching)
3) the boundary conditions

Difficult to imagine really, what can be wrong

Good luck
