Antenna Modeling with COMSOL Multiphysics®
Duration: 19:12
In this archived webinar, we provide an introduction to antenna design and modeling in the COMSOL Multiphysics® software. The webinar begins with a brief overview of the multiphysics capabilities of the software as well as the add-on modules that are well suited for electromagnetics and high-frequency electromagnetics modeling. We then discuss what can be modeled with the RF Module, including different antenna models.
We also show a modeling example of a microstrip patch antenna, including defining the physics, choosing proper boundary conditions, describing material properties, and visualizing results. The video concludes with a discussion on electromagnetic heating.
