Conjugate heat transfer: Unable to couple fluid and solid heat transfer domains correctly

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi I am a post graduate student from India currently doing a project in the field of friction stir welding. I have modelled a rectangular plate as my workpiece and cylindrical fsw tool to generate heat on the surface of workpiece. The workpiece is considered as a flowing fluid under laminar flow and tool is considered as a non deformable solid. The base of cylindrical workpiece is in contact with the flowing fluid producing heat due to friction. I gave identity pair under assembly pair and continuity pair under heat transfer. I am not getting the answer correctly and I think it's due to improper coupling of the domains. Kindly help.
