REMESHING AT EACH PARAMETRIC STEP

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hy everyone,

I am solving a parametric study and I would like to redifine the mesh at each parametric step (at each parametric step the geometry deforms a lot therefore the quality of the mesh decreases). Is there any way to do it? I heard that this is possible throw matlab ... any idea?

Thanks
Giulio

Hi

which version of COMSOL, and which type of parametric sweep ?

as you must also know how to define a "restart" with the initial values from "0" or from the previous solver case?
as if you change the mesh you need to remap the last solution onto the new mesh initial conditions to continue

Good luck
