Structural elements in COMSOL

I was wondering whether structural elements, in my case shell elements, can somehow be used instead of or in addition to continuum elements in three-dimensional geometries in COMSOL.
I am trying to model carbon nanotubes as hollow cylinders. It seems I cannot achieve adequate bending stiffness with respect to the axial stiffness without a wall thickness that is physically unacceptable. Anisotropy of the modulus is not an option due to the complexity of the geometry. Therefore, shell elements, with both in-plane and out-of-plane stiffness, are the way to go.
Shell elements in COMSOL, how?
