Hey everyone,
I'm working on designing a MEMS phase shifter for photonic integrated circuits. The challenge is to model the coupling of mechanics, electrostatics, and optics in COMSOL.
Looking for insights from those experienced in COMSOL's multi-physics capabilities:
- How to couple mechanics, electrostatics, and optics effectively?
- Any tips for accurate boundary conditions, sources, and materials?
- Recommended solvers for such simulations?
Any advice, resources, or personal experiences you can share would be greatly appreciated.
here is how I already defined the physics in Comsol however when I run it I'm getting quite different results than what I expected. see attached image
