How can I select a point as a source of my prescribed velocity in a 2D geometry?

Hello. I'm using the Elastic Waves module and I'm trying to simulate the wave propagation with a point source, but I don't know how to select the point when I'm selecting a boundary in the Prescribed Velocity.

It's as simple as inserting a point in the geometry at the desired location. Look under Geometry>More Primitives.

I've already done that in the attached file. But I don't know how to select it in the Prescribed velocity section

I don't have 6.3 on this machine so I can't look at your file.

In 6.2 right-click Solid Mechanics then select Points>Prescribed Displacement.

That is- you must select a point, not a boundary.

But I'm working with the Elastic Waves module. I want to propagate the wave from a point as a source

I have never used the elastic waves time explicit module although I have extensively modeled wave propagation in the solid mechanics module.

I had a look at your file in 6.3 and it does not appear to be possible to apply a prescribed displacement condition to a point. I suggest you contact support to see if (1) my interpretation is correct and (2) if there is an alternate approach to your problem.
