after importing a cylindric CATIAV5 Part with to bodies it is not possible to build proper Identity Edge Pairs at the edge of the circular top. (two cylindric objects are stacked together). When I zoom to the covering area I can see that there is no correct overlap.
In the CAD Model everything is fine. If I form a union it works perfect - correct edge overlapping is displayed. But in assembly mode it looks very "edgy". Is there any way to refine this circular curve ?
Or even a more compatible way to import this geometry - maybe another filetype ?
I need this for a Bachelorthesis. It is urgent please help me.
Thanks,
Alex
P.S.: (Rebuilding of this body in Comsol directly is no option, because the geometry is too complex).
