Function of temperature

Hello,
I am new to modeling with COMSOL. I am working on a simple heat transfer model of a solid with a constant heat source increasing the temperature. I would like to have the Cp change as a function of temperature, and have set it up as a piecewise function with my argument being pd(T,t). But it is still not able to evaluate my function.
Any advice would be helpful.

Hi
the easiest is to look at the material library functions and identify one that has a temperature variance included. another way is to save the file in "m" format and check what is happening there (it's slightly cryptic but still manageable).
Once you have defined your function in COMSOL (you can check the shape by plotting it) you need to refer to it in the Cp variable field of your domain/volume specification
by the way are you in V3.5 or v4 ?
there ate quite some changes in the denominations, it helps to specify for your questions
